not all people that go hunting are 'upper class fuckiwits' that tear through land. I think you'll find that hunts have designated tracks and do not leave gates open as tehy usually jump over them!

so...no offense but how many hunts have you seen

a few I also have quite a few farmer friends who welcomed the ban up here

Hunting is wrong, many years ago it caused the pole cat to become extinct because they were over hunted and eventually died out.

hunting is barbaric and no fucking way is it classed as a 'sport'.

Ban it, they should ban it now and bring in heavy punishments for people breaking the ban.

My opinion, and im sure there are plenty of people who will both disagree and agree with me.

The pro-hunters bleat on about their right to enjoy hunting. IMO, this argument has as much validity as the paedophile who wants the right to abuse children. Both are about inflicting suffering on the weak in the pursuit of pleasure

i ride horses you can do a mock hunt which is all the fun of hunting without tearing a fox apart at the end. its about time that people move on from the old days. i think that is sick to do it for fun, if there is a need then yeah but not for little men to fell big ripping a animal apart. just my view.

You'll also find that in most communities the hunters theselves are made up of families of the land owners who need thier livestock protecting. Just annoys me how people make thier mind up before knowing the facts.

i am very much pro hunting.
I live in the countryside and have been brought up on a farm.
We have to shoot 100's of rabbits a week to control the numbers and stop them eating our livelihood - our crops.

Hunting is an age old tradition, the fox is killed fast and doesnt suffer long pain, if hunting is banned, then we will have to shoot or snare the foxes. Shooting means the fox will get wounded if not shot in the head and will continue to live in pain, the same with snaring a fox.
Fox is a large vermin problem and has to be kept under control.

If hunting goes, whats next?? fishing??

Also i wish to add that a relation of mine is head of the local hunt and nothing will stop her from hunting.

And i beleive the anti's never actually know the score, i have seen them throwing bottles at hunters and hurting them and the horses - they complain about the cruelty!
But we will just have to see what happens i guess!

I no awiat lots of comments about me and my comment, agaib its my point of view!

UI have no problem with fox hunters getting hit by bottles. people that are fox hunters are not generally farmers doing it to protect lambs etc. they are toffs who think because they have money they can do what they want. it's about time they were brought back down to earth

Have you ever been to a hunt.
I would say 70% of them are landowners and famers. Its a way to control vermin.

So its o.k for me to start hitting fisherman then yeh?

Another point there are a few throusand jobs going to be lost and others threatened. So thats more people on the doll, why loose jobs when the fox will still be killed at the end of the day??

fishermen catch fish for people to eat. people that go on the hunt do so just to kill an animal for fun. there is no justification in it. going out with a gun would kill more foxes in a shorter period of time. I have no problem with people loosing a job because this barbaric past time will be getting banned.

tbh, i have no problems at all with foxhunting, if its a farmer protecting its animals, but when its a fox hiding in a tiny hole, while twats try and dig it out to let the dogs kill it isnt hunting, its about as fukin good as clubbing seals

Wasn't that dolphins?

Ok then.. dogs pannier style backpacks with mini SAM launchers.

And horses with RPGs.

However, the people participating in the hunt will just be armed with a stupid little horn.
