Most people who go traveling with friends end up splitting up and going there own ways by about half way - dunno if this applies to going with a partner though... You probably kick your self if you don't take the oppertunity too...

go travelling, you wouldnt wanna take your bird to aus anyway as they love the accent and its pretty easy to get laid , oh and your prob better off traveling on your own
