I thought they were more like 180bhp and 175ft Ilb torque...... I stand corrected. A guy I used to work with had both a SC MK1 and a MK2 Turbo.

mk1 t-bar 1.6 is about £600 with the mrs on the policy

mk2 t-bar 2.0 is about £1000-1000 again with the mrs on the policy.

Mk1 Supercharged aren't that much more to insure than a normal one, about the same as a MK2 NA. And it won't be anywhere near as fast as a MK2 Turbo.

oh and kolin i told my old man last night that i want an MR2 and he said start looking for a replacemnt for it as well because you will stack it the first time it rains

mid mounted engines and RWD give a false sense of security to inexperienced drivers.

they get stacked if you drive like a twat!

i think one or two people said they could be a handfull in the wet i dont think people were 'banging on about how dangerous' they are!
