the cops were being complete twats, i'd not long since got the car back on the road after having the engine rebuilt too so its not like i was gona be raggin the arse of it either! they went over the car aswell lookin for any other problems, wasn't impressed
10% + 2 is only a guideline, if the cops in a pissy mood, they'l do you for even 2mph over the limit. On the news a few weeks back, they were saying about lancashire police being worst for getting people a few mph over the limit

Yesterday I was over where I used to live & was travelling along a piece of dual carraigeway that used to be a 40 limit. Went past a van, turned out to be a cop camera van & then saw a sign that it is now a 30 limit. Was travelling at over 35 mph so i'm expecting points & a fine anyday soon which will take me upto 6 , but 3 come off next March.

Lucky! I've heard of people getting much more severe punishments then that for going slower than you.
I have ZERO points and got pulled for the 1st time last week, thats in 3 years of driving.

Yeah, its a bummer. Thought maybe wi just having the conversion done I could use that as reason. ya know, car might not have been set up properly or summat.
Annoying too cause I always thought I was more cautious in the corsa when it comes to my speed.
When I'm in the clio chugga boom, I dont check so much.
Ah well. The other three points come off in August next year so I'll have to be over catious in the future.
Probably get done for driving too slow next time
