I still pay someone to change my breaks but its due to the lack of being arsed to do them than lack of knowledge

I know a reasonable amount about cars in general, and I could probably do a lot of work on my own car (with the help of my trusty haynes manual :lol However, if in doubt, I ask my dad to show me so I will know what i'm doing next time. I refuse to pay mechanics loads of money to fix something I could do myself

Pretty good with most engines but only properly confident working on Vauxhalls / Peugeots and Hondas.

Mainly work on competition cars, so when it comes to road cars Im like eh!?!? Where is everything???

Building my Corsa is the biggest lesson I've ever undertaken. I mis-spent my childhood in front of a computer rather than fixing my bike, so car stuff is more difficult than it should be
