petrol is only going to increase more...
rough picture....
refinery sells petrol @ 20p/litre
government taxes petrol to hell
petrol sold to end-user at 90p/litre
refinery needs to refill there lorries but cant use own fuel so pay 90p/litre
refinery has to cover costs, so raises the price of fuel by a few pence
government gets more money from increase
consumer charged more
refinery charged more for own product again to run there lorries
again they increase the cost & it impacts us more...
tis a cruel world...

Bargain!! Where is it that cheap? It's 3p more around here on average, but I'm on Ultimate/Optimax which makes matters worse.

83.9 lowest around here.
Can't even get 12 litres to a tenner anymore.
When I had my scooter in 1998 petrol prices were 59.9
And £2.50 used to do around 400 miles

Im not entirely sure mate, I will find out
I know that Tesco do not make any money from there petrol stations, they are purely there for conveniance and to provide, "a more varied shopping experience"
This is why if you go to the likes of Esso etc you pay loads for juice and crisps etc as the franchisee has to try and make a profit somewhere

In Doncaster ASDA they have a drive through petrol station. No shops, just petrol and a toll booth type pay station.
Anyway yeah petrol prices are gay
