starting to get excited now. Just want to get rid of this car for around 3800-4000. Insurance is cheap on the new car too which is good. Good job i've got 2 years NCB.

Not all come with smoked rears though. When I was looking to buy one some had them and some didn't......very wierd cos ive seen some y reg SXi's with them and 52 reg's without!! Mine is a 51 reg and has them but before I bought this one I looked at another 51 reg and they didn't. Must have to be specified when originally bought I should think
Smoked definitely look better!!

PS I think cheakycharlie paid about 11k for his........luvvvvly motor

Dave, might be selling mine.
Corsa C sxi 2003 model, with the sports trim, silver bits and bobs, just had its 1st year service, warrenty till 2006, just past 12,000 miles. Also has irmscher backbox which is worth £280, Saphire black at an extra cost of £300.

Retail price with all the extras over £9500 easy

will let go for £6500

while that is a lovely car mate, I'm sorry to say that red is not one of my favourite colours.

Thanks anyway though, what car are you thinking of getting?

£11,600 for a Corsa though? Have a look in Autotrader and see how many cars you can get for that sort of money!

For example.. I paid £11,500 for my 2001 Coupé Turbo. Ins. is £1334 which isn't too shabby.

i'll be spending no more than around 7 or 8k. Taking a trip to Carland tomorrow to see what they have. Providing of course i can shift this car.

ah i'm confused on what i should do.

Either i get a 2nd hand car from somewhere like Carland (where it's doubtful they'll have a Corsa with the Irmshcer kit on) or I go to Vauxhall and try and get a deal. 7k would be ideal.

Maybe if i was to get an SXI and then slap on the kit at a later date perhaps?

Irmscher kits are very expensive if you buy them separately. Looking at over £1k fitted.

I'd go for the Exclusiv, an SXi would cost much more brought up to this spec. The climate control alone added £900 to the bill on my SXi last year. Leather seats cost £1500, the larger 16" wheels aren't even available. Being a limited edition a dealer might not want to give you as good a price but haggle hard, the worse they can do is say no. Go to the dealer with a print out of the VIP details. They ought to be able to match it to get your business. Best of luck!

nice one mate, thanks for the help.

If i can't get the exclusiv then i'll settle for the SXI, still a nice car. The main factor is that i get a new one preferably 03 or 04 in black. has to be low mileage too if i get a nearly new one.

Another bonus with getting one from somewhere like Carland is that they do really good finance deals, i wouldnt get this at vaux, but then i might not get everything i wanted.

the two tone dash (like mine) and the black lights, and grey seats were put on sxi models built in august 2001 onwards. these were not sold until september of 2001. They also came with electric windows, and mirrors as standard.

I personally would not buy one, but I have had shit loads of problems with mine. Probpbly just a one off.

If you go secondhand make sure you get a decent warrenty cause you will need it.

Also delears can do them cheaper than the VIP price. Just dont pay full wack.
