hot hatches should be less than 20k i think

focus RS & Golf R32 are not hot hatches

the GTi & St170 would be the hot hatch equivalents

A lot of good Hothatchs out there, I would say:

Handling and driving fun - CooperS - but looks a bit gay

Handling/performance - Clio 172 cup - but falls to bits..

performance/reliability/grin factor - CTR - steerings a bit cack.

handling/performance/reliability/grins - Integra Dc5 - import only..

Before you say 'but the integras a coupe' its not technically, look up the definition's

Yes - a friend of mine has a 172 which has suffered two broken engine mountings and a blown head gasket in its first year

Says the punto owner

Our of the cars listed I bet 95% of people would rate the DC5 as the best looking
