imo i think the fiesta rs turbo, uno turbo and punto turbo are

whilst the cars you mention are fairly quick, they are not exactly the fastest, nor the best handling, nor best build quality......

they are just not "the ultimate hot hatch"

Id say more like the Cooper S, Williams 1, Clio 172 (or indeed the 182), 306 GTi 6, ermmmm,,,, just a few that stand out to be better than the rest IMO

Sorry, completely disagree. all three marc has mentioned are quick as standard, all 3 handle well after lowering but admit they are not the safest. For me, without a doubt, the uno turbo is just fucking superb and is soo much fun to drive.

 | Umm... CTR/GTi-R but these are from the larger size (still classed as hatches tho)

Other than that 205 GTi was a quality car

 | This is a hard one really... I think the best all round production hatchback ever has to be the 205 GTi 1.9... even by todays standards they are a force to be reckoned with!

If we are talking about ultimate hot hatches, then my ultimate hatch ever is probably either the Clio V6 or the rally god that is the Lancia Delta Integrale Evo hatchback.

What do you guys think of my choice?
