3.0, 6 cylinders, lots of umph, 24v
2.0, 4 cyclinder, lots of umph, 16v

I should hope you should beat him, but tbh, both running well at full chat, it would be close. Both extremly powerfull engines for a small car. Turbo would deffo be quicker from 0-110 odd, but if both were on teh move from say 60mph odd, ooooooo, wouldn't wanna say really, it would be close.

Long enough road and both cars should see 150mph odd.

But at the end of the day, does it really matter? Both had a lot of ££ spent and both very quick.

Oh, ps, an XE is slower than a LET. AK, u might have beaten craig over a 1/4, but urs aint exatly standard

U just need the maths
150bhp 2.0 16v
204bhp 2.0 16v (with turbo).

Its obvious the turbo SHOULD win every tiem over an XE, but always depends. Sh1t start, fucked gearchange, loss of power suddenly, lots of different things.

XE around 14.8s 1/4
LET around 13.8s 1/4

huge difference. LET would rape a XE any speed

Oh in that case im just going
XE just wouldn't stand a chance.

Drove a calibra the other week. Transfer box was knackard so 2wd (Front), running awful, and on 17s, and its a calibra so much bigger than my corsa.

IT was MUCH faster. Would have left my corsa standing even running how it was.

An XE wouldn't stand a chance against a LET.

Chances over a 1.4 mile?

LET would need 17/18s and have full interior
XE would need 15s, a dam good start and be stripped out big style.

V6 engines in vauxhalls never give good 0-60 or 1/4 mile times in respect of the cc. But get on a motorway and the V6's go on and on and on.

put it this way you'd struggle to beat me in my GT on the motorway. he could not have been trying or thought you were just a normal corsa so left it in top gear

In that case the bloke with the LET is either a poofta behined the wheel or its seriously not running right and he doesn't know it.

PLease listen to everyone please!! An XE would not beat a LET.
An XE would need throttle bodies to bring it close to a LET, but even that would not be enough, maybe over a 1/4 it would bring it closer, but deffo not at top end!

The XE is infinately more reliable than the LET, just ask Roy...

He couldn't keep his LET Corsa in engines.

Unfortunately some dumb ass car salesman couldn't keep the car out of a dry stane dyke either
