ive smoked weed in the past, not ofton but smoked a bit, i liked the instant hit you get all be it short and i felt it had a smilar effect as alchol ecpet made me a bit tired. a 16 year old lad from up the road died other month from an over dose of e's he had taken six, then his mates poured another 6 down him, i had seen him about 11pm the friday, he was dead by the morning, enough to make you think, wouldnt catch me doing pills because i dont want to, i dont want to take anything else thats the way i feel irrelevant of other peoples thoughts etc, i dotn generally have a problem with people who take drugs

no not at all, that is your opinion, rightly or wrongly, but that is YOUR opinion, what im saying is that, just because bex etc are saying that they think they should be freely used, you turn on a different approach and say that they are kids and need to grow up, but that is thier opinion,
there is no right or wrong, but it is wrong of someone to force their opinions on another, if you dont like it then you dont like it, why be so bloody immature about it

on a serious note... i take drugs (e's and coke) on a recreational basis (a couple of times a month when i go out) and i agree with both points (pro drug and anti-drug) to be fair your opinion is formed from your experiences from growing up, your friends, family e.t.c. and nobody on a forum will change your mind. I respect everyones opinion even if it differs from mine because i know they didn't have the same mates or live the same life as me. People who have never taken drugs have the right to the opinion that drugs are bad and if i was in the same position i would most likely think exactly the same thing. My experience is that drugs can help you enjoy yourself a lot more. (that comment refers to alcohol as well)

I do know what I am on about.
I have done both drugs and alcohol. Do you have my experience to see both sides of the argument? No you dont. So in a way your argument has not substance.

bex most of your comments are clutching at straws, and are off the back of other comments from others most of the time.
just because i havent touched drugs it doesnt mean i dont know the dangers of taking drugs, as well as the social effects.
every single one of my mates used to smoke weed, and most of them took E's most weekend, i know how people are when on E
Hammer is right, suggesting people should be allowed to walk the streets on E is a non argument

OD from 12 pills? More than likely he drowned himself.
Lots of people get killed taking drugs because they don't know what their doing

but, steve i was exactly the same as you a fw years ago, then i experienced it and changed my views on it, im not saying you should try it, all im saying is, your opinion is yours and bex (even if it does seem to come across as immature) is her opinion, i just dont think there can be a simple good or bad, right or wrong answer on this subject it has so many levels to it, it just cannot be answered!
