No they will be as good as an R26 but as it's got an RS badge it will be instantly better.

I don't dislike them or like them, much like the Mk1 RS I wasn't fussed.

I hope so

I think its incredible how much Subaru have let the Impreza slip. To be beaten by a Ford and a Renault.
I wonder if they're going to revive the Impreza name with something special next time.

Good write up, but would it make me buy one over an R26R? No, not for 25k when I could have as much fun for 10k cheaper.

I think i was forced to spend £50k on a new car or cars.

I'd buy an RS for the road, but i'd love to have an R26.R in my life too. I love the character it seems to have. You just know it'd put a mahoosive smile on your face.

Just got the latest EVO mag. The RS is a 5 star car.... must be good!

Also some other good features like tuned Astra VXR, Golf GTI, Audi S3 & Focus ST... S3 kicks butt in the acceleration times despite not being as powerful as the Golf & Astra that are tested... so Haldex 4WD does it have its uses!

That Astra is fucking wank, seriously why bother with 420bhp quite honestly?

It would have been faster with less power, wet as well wasn't it?

It looks good from the quick flick through I had earlier on. Has some modded hatches after the RS review. ST, VXR Golf ED30 & S3 all running 300-400bhp.

Is the blue that the new RS comes in the same as what you would have found on an imperial blue cosworth etc ?
