I've seen a few things he has said etc on here, but he was compeltely different at the SE meet.

Either way he didnt deserve to have that happen to him.

Erm he had a 12 hour operation or something like that and they cut his face open and operated. I'm not sure on what exactly I think it was more general rebuilding of bone. Inserted 2 drains into his head but these have now been removed.

Just waiting to see what happens now, not sure why they take so long between operations. But he reckons he is home for a couple of weeks (been home since mid last week or so)

Glad to see he's still alive really.

If that pole would have hit him square, dead on in the eye he probably would have been fucked.

I seem to remember him telling me it's because there was a rubber covering at the end that he survived, so you would be correct. Was close
