The lads lucky to be alive, as much as he is a badger, no-one deserves that, hope he recovers asap, that pic will help as evidence too if they catch anyone

Myself and Anita (His GF for those who didn't know) went up and spent most of the day there today.
His face is very swollen now, bruising (around the eye), he has to have eyedrops for his eye (eyelid has to be opened manually) and stitches where they did the operation on Thursday.
I think they've done a great job considering he's only had 1 operation, looks much better than when I last saw him, but that's probably not hard.
He seemed in good spirit considering, usual Luke style jokes which included trying to get Anita to touch him for most of the day.
Tomorrow he'll find out what is going to happen next.
