Looks great Dan and Luke, great work there! starting to look more like that photoshop you put up

As the other are saying I'd just wack a bit of laquer on there to bring the shine out but it is looking awesome!

should be able to mask it up laquer it then flat and polish them should come out good

Yeah or take them off and mask them up, obviously if it come up well after a buff there would be no point doing that

Fine grade of wet and dry, flat it back until the paint is perfectly smooth then lacquer. 1500 would do, then again when the lacquer hardens flat it back until smooth as a babys arse and put the buffer on it.

Thats how I did my rocker cover

Nah I have some 2500 sitting here I think thats the highest it goes too, not sure. I actually used the 2500 to flat mine back but it took quite a while

haha ill take a quick snap of my car, show you what i mean ive flatted it down not to polish it but to repaint it, its what i would do if i was going to polish it up but i did shite prep work and it needs redoing

meguiars detailing range do sand paper 1000 up to 3500 pal good stuff

corsas lookin quality mate. i was gonna go for that color scheme!! blacked out car with yellow brakes and tow bar. Wasnt sure if it would look shit so i didnt bother, but it looks so good on ur car mate. wish i done it to my black corsa now how u get on with those springs

Cheers mate Driving is alright, i do practice theory tests alot at home and pass them like everytime, actual driving is alright, my instructor is making me start mock tests next week to show me what i need to improve on. Ill be there soon though, and ready for the back ache to kick in haha!


glad to hear its all going good matey get yourself in for your theory before you know it doing mock tests you'll be wanting to book it lol
i did that stupidly enough, wanted to book practical but couldnt because didnt have theory
had to take the coilovers off my C SRi the fronts started leaking like mad so standard ride height for PVS as spending mucho monies on bodyshop lol

Orite mate, sorry for the late reply, haven't been on here in a while. And they were easy, my bro had to get under the car while i lowered the jack though because they kept falling out There brill though, dont rattle or anything, dead chuffed!
