rumours of 700bhp and stuff. im hoping for between 500 and 600 really. infact anything over 500 would be nice. it wont be driven on that map anyway most the time. the ecu has a 3 map switch so will use the 0.6 bar map for day to day stuff. should see 350ish on that anyway

700bhp is pretty good for a cast item indeed.

its rumours though. people have used std one at over 600bhp before. so in theory i should be ok. mine is an early xe crank which were rumoured to be stronger. again, rumours. lets hope i dont find out for definite.

earlier were made from better grade material, hence why lighter too than the later ones.

unground/early crank is most ideal, before looking at a farndon/DK cranks.

some cranks are good so bad, so bit hit and miss. some have gone at only a couple hundred bhp others still going strong at higher end

seen as it reacted a touch in places. i sanded the rocker cover back down, and gave it another lick of primer.

im not exactly bothered about the areas under where the plug cover goes, simply due to the fact the plug cover goes over them. i mean its not going to be a minter as its halfords cans. but i will try my best.
