Dont know whether to order from Amazon or Play? Amazon state they will deliver on the day or release but the delivery is an extra 1.99 so 39.79 altogether. Play is free delivery but doesnt say anything about receiving on the day of release?

Just ordered it from simplygames.com for £36 and guaranteed on the day of release. Just hope I dont get shafted cos ive never heard of the company before!

Have you used the GT? I cant justify the extra money on a G25. The GT does look very good. Ive been reading about the differences. The GT has quite a lot over the pro.

Been having a look at the clamps etc and the clamps are exactly the same on all the wheels as far as I can see. It could be sorted for the price of a second hand driving force wheel which I had of eBay for 699 posted!

russ - all cars have mechanical damage, but only premiums have visual body deformation
james - ive used the pro but the lack of a clutch pedal and shifter is a big enough turn off.. plus the quality of the pedals is crap, feel very light there is little resistance in the pedals.
put it this way, we have mr careful with money who has one but yet didnt replace it or try fix it.. he got a g25.
also when racing in gt you have to toe and heel and left foot brake to keep the cars stable under certain conditions.
just get the g25, dont fuck about with the dfgt.

Theres something like 250 premium cars and there the ones that have body damage and cockpit view  , makes you think whats taken them so long

there are 2 sorts of cars
Premium cars & standard cars
standard cars are from gt4 but upscaled to fit in but they dont have cockpits or some degree of damage ie body panels falling off.
to expect a 1000 cars to have premium quality is totally irrational.
all cars have the physics system implemented.
and for 5 years they havent been modeling cars, there are tracks, sounds, physics engines, day to night transitions, weather which is generated on the fly throughout your race, full b spec mode, full online compatability where you and 4 friends can tackle the nubby ring 24hr in stints... there is alot more to the game that car models.

ive just been on ebay and cant believe the prices, i paid £145 for my g25 a year or 2 ago brand new!!
