Rather Large update.....

No, It's not running, We (Mostly Me?) failed to meet the deadline of tomorrow. I now have the security code so I can program the imobiliser, But it appears the ecu is fucked, It wont speak to the imob pickup. I am going to have another little go in the morning when I'm not scared of starting it due to how loud it will be without the exhaust connected up. I will also if I have to, rip the loom I made completely apart, Although I'm 95% convinced its correct (Multi-meter etc)

So far I've got the imobiliser pickup programed to the key chip, But I can't get the pickup to speak to the ecu and vice versa.

Anyway, I do have pictures and a video, I would like to stress, Its by no means finished.

Video to show it cranking over, Its not the ecu sending a false flashing EML as it does not even fire (It has fuel pressure)

I'm not going to give up.

I has news. Thanks to Alan (I Hope thats correct?) (Mr&MrsP) Suggesting changing a wire to perm live, I got the car running for 5secs (due to the imob kicking in)

First (And second go :lol

After lots of fucking about to get the keychip programmed (It wouldn't program).
......
It started and carried on running!

In the vid the bay is a mess, I tidied it up a little before packing up for the day again...

Cone is not staying.

Next thing to do is weld the corsa flange onto the downpipe, plus...

Mount the FPR
Refit all the scuttle shiz
Connect up the brake servo pipe
Fit rad/pipes + fill with coolant
Refit cambelt cover
Move fuel tank vent valve
Tidy inside.

Going to be done for this weekend.

Nah, It was just not being on a perm live and also the transponder key being faulty I think, Programmed another and its fine.

Your airbox won't fit.

There was something else I was meant to tell you but I've forgotten.

Glad too see you got it running in the end.

Although i wouldn't run with that sump plug, been there and left marks in the road.

The exhaust sits lower and its only 1.5/2mm thicker than the torx type. If chris wants to change it come oil change time (which will be soon anyway) he can.

Edit at marks in road, I don't think chris's is low enough, If it was mine I'd agree with you but I have marks on my sump anyhow. Didn't have much choice at the time though as it needs to be done for this weekend, the old sump plug was ruined, Couldn't get it out!

Its thicker than the torx type, so bit closer to the road than it would of been. If yours hadn't been changed for a bolt type in the first place wouldn't have this issue

I struggled when I was trying to refit my OE Airbox

The alignment of the Airbox Discharge pipe and the 1.8 AFM is way out on mine, aswell as the Significant difference in Bore/Diameter

Hence, Sealed Induction kit bought and fitted.

Fit an X20XEV pipe instead of the longer X18XE1 pipe.
