the all important update....
i lied. sorry. now means that i will have a nice bit of red pipe instead of black for the one you see coming out the intercooler when the bumper is back on. will use the black instead of the blue on the passenger side. awesome or what.
i probably wont get videos really, well they wont be exactly exciting if i do. once i get a roll cage fitted and a camera mounted on it will get some incar ones on the strip. its quite difficult to video stuff when im driving the car. if i had mates it would be easier.

no.
its nearly impossible to make a good video sitting in the car. we have tried it many times over the last few years. it just doesnt work. if i get a cage and a camera mount i will make some. may have some vids from when it gets mapped. i have one from september last year when it made its 487.
likes to lift out the rollers a bit.

weekend weekly update sponsored by cracked exhaust manifold on the vectra....more on that later.
re-mounted the alarm unit.
ghetto vacuum splitter. pipes are tidier now have no fear.
oil catch tank mounted and piped up and stuff.
also got a video of it running
no plenum on as tb's to balance. lovely.
then while we were there, put the vectra up on the ramp to examine the blowing exhaust. the manifold appears to be cracked where the egr pipe goes into it. pretty sure theyre steel manifold on the rear bank so will strip inlet off and get mr jdm to weld it.
winner and loser all in one day.

aiming to have it back together in the week. johnathan is going to hopefully get the boost pipes alloy welded this weekend. then i can fit them put bumper on, fabricate a throttle linkage and thats it ready for mapping. will take it up the road see what its running like for a laugh before hand. monitor the lambda and stuff on the ecu. should be ok. bit of fuel to take out the map due to injectors being 250cc larger.
