ok yeah after ur last year, the final most important one, yeah ok have a break. but ur first year of uni is easy everyone knows that. so why do u need such a long break
im not complaining about the people with part time jobs at uni.
im talking about the people at uni with no job cos they think there 3grand loan will sort them out.
get a job aswell for fucks sake.

Dean, did a HND in Computing, passed the first year, got bored in the second, have now started Digital Entertainment degree, which is kinda cool

maybes not everyone can? for example i have a mate whos completeing his second degree, (worked through the first one) but is now doing hsi training to be a docotr, and simply doesnt have time to get a job as his course is too demanding! cant tar everyone with same brush! some peopel go to uni to get good jobs and work the rest of their life, so dont wana work the 3-4 years theyre at uni! get over it! if it bothers you that much, dont talk about it

Unless they are going to earn 15k in the 4 months they are back they don't have to start paying it back anyway

To some extent i get whats been said, I have quite a few friends who do courses which seem to require them to go in about 10hours/week. Now when its exam time and they have coursework to do, they take time off from work, which makes sense to me, and when they've finished,if they can afford to not have a job, i dont see a problem, i wouldnt if i didnt have to, but it is lazy though

still dont know how you can say 'most'? have you carried out a study on a proportional sample? i doubt it...
and as for the loans, you only start paying it off when you're earning over a certain amount, which i doubt you're goina get doing part time or summer work

Most jobs available are full time, or manual labour, and most people don't want to do that
And the loan doesn't get paid off till you earn over 10 (possibly 12k) a year anyway, so it wouldn't pay off any loan
