"intent" is the key word here. Anyone would think she was marching around in dockers and shaving all her gangs hair off, the way its been blown out of proportion.

We cant say or do anything now days........i was watching only fools and horses the other week, some comment was made that wouldn't be allowed now days........

Is it because we have more foreign folk in the country.....

If BB was on years and years ago, this wouldn't have exploded like it has now.........what is happening to this world.

Thats like saying years ago black and white people in america couldnt eat together what is the world coming to. The people are being educated in the rights and wrongs of how to respect one another and accept new cultures. Refering back to days when thigns were different is almost like saying i liked it when we didnt identify rascism and confront it because thats what it was like back then. The was no anti rascism from the main stream population, thats the difference from then to now

this country has really gone down hill in the past 5 years. To be honest i think since september 11th it has made everyone more aware of certain cutures views and thier actions.

The general public are getting sick of them. I was working in an old ladys house in Bradford a few weeks ago and she woulnt dare leave her home to walk 30yards down the road because of the intimidation factor that the young pakistani lads who congrigated around the shops had on her.

May i say do you not think that asian people get intimidated by groups of "white" youths congregating around shops in thier area.

Quite a one sided view if you ask me

There were 8.5 million people who watched BB yesterday only

82% voted against Jade

there are ~5% Asians/Asians origin in the UK making it only ~3 millions of the UK population

so 8.5 millions people watch, suppose ALL the 3 millions, ok, put it 4 millions Asians/Asian origin watched...who made the the 4.5 million remaining then?

It is clear that the general view of the public is that Jade comments were racist or had hints of racism. Even Jade admitted her disgust after watching her behaviour and agreed that she doesn't like people who behave the way she did.

Now some 'racist' and stupid are still backing her and asking for reality checks..no seriously, wtf?... Jade apologised for the offences...Now let's defend her wrong behaviour...why? because we have no education, No need for socialisation or tolerance. No dignity or respect for others. how lame

Only those who only have DON'T WANT to think and understand will state otherwise. No need for reality checks....

When was it said that this country should be white, this should be black, this one brown etc...? Where?

i hope the figures are right

I don't thnik its a case of do gooders or indeed racism being the single driving force behing the majority of votes. While I agree with the maths of it, I think its very difficult to associate the raw numbers with any particular motive or reason for the vote.

I'm sure there are lots of people who voted as they think it is complete racism and completely unacceptable. There may be some who voted because they read some news and made up their mind without even knowing what she said.

There might be some who heard to word racism and immediately jumped to denounce the mere thought of it happening.

My local radio station even have a jingle that says 'Thank you for phoning Big Brother. You have voted for Jade'. How many votes were done as a result of that very passing exposure to the situation. If I didn't read it on here I wouldn't have any other exposure to it.

Or there might just be people who think she is stupid and have grown to dislike her on a number of levels.

I think the fact she didn't win the last one means people clearly don't like her. Perhaps the feeling is stronger now but its not complete and utter landslide agreement.

She was hated just as much the first time, but the general public eventually warmed to her as she gave the impression of a naive baffoon.

She won't be doing that again this time, she came across as a driven yet callous bully with a far greater perspective of how to manipulate others in order to be succesful than she would admit. Stupid self made millionaires are few and far between.

TBH I think you summed it up there. Also people might take a negative view towards her because of what she has achieved with her life and how she did it, appearing on a reality TV show. I know I hate the fact I work everyday to earn some money, she lived ina house for 2 months and has earnt what? thousands? millions?

If so, the first opportunity people get to slate her, presto.

5% asains in this country, errrr, hokay.... Whatever....

Im not racist, but i do find all this political BS funny as hell.

A black person can call another black person a "nigga", and it can also be done in films, but if a white guy says it, its racism.

TBH, the R word is used too much. What about black/asain people beign racist to whites? Oh yeah, that never happens...

All political BS.

It was not racisim in the BB house at all, that word was brought up by that jackson fella... Even the asian girl said it wasn't racisim.. I almost cried with laughter when i saw flags being burnt in india Wonder how many of them actually saw the program opposed to reading the media hype (as usual).

Obviously not every vote is due to people thinking that Jade is racist. Most females who make up the majority of viewers dont like Jade. This is the main reason why she has been evicted.

There will be a percentage of people who voted because of this whole racism thing but they look stupid now as the women in question has admitted it wasn't racist

Been watchin it all on the news and reading the papers today and i've changed my views,

I reckon that recism is present in the house but i dont believe Jade to be the person handing i out...

Jade Goody is as thick as mince, she has said very stupid things BUT she's said them to Shilpa's face and hasnt been sneaky and snide about it,

the real racists are Joe and Danielle the ones who say the nasty things in conversation between alies and are nice as pie to shilpa's face,

Joe is ruined, she went in there for the money as people were threatening to reposses her house before she went in, well im sorry, but she deserve's to scrub the streets after the way she has acted,

its like a school playground, they ganged up on shilpa, i dont think jade's intentions were racism i think it was just a difference of class and jade didnt fully understand what it was about or what she way saying,

but meanwhile the real culprits slink off into the background because jade was the loud one making herself heard,
