pics in no specific order. please excuse the state of the garage floor.
kit contains 36 bits. 28 i think are cage tubes. and 6 floor plates. you get a dvd to sort of help you. it shows you them welding into an evo 9. great film it is. its amazing when you look at the customcages site and see the cage. then see it all in pieces just how much work is involved.
so plan for next weekend is to get the glass out the car then get it down to my mates so can begin to strip it of interior, wings, bonnet, maybe doors, fuel tank and fuel lines then get started on fitting the cage. its going to be fun. dont think my mate johnathan realises exactly how much work we will have to do. cage then fuel system. busy few weeks.

quite a lot. that black package was quite heavy to move about.
strength over weight, and less shell flex. could counter act the added weight with more power perhaps.

nice, surely all that would weigh less than say a large passenger?
oh and will it be tied into the front struts?

fitted the cage and fuel pump into the corsa today.......
........to transport it to johnathans unit for him to weld in soon.
so thats everything sat there waiting to get on with. windows should be out corsa on saturday coming so will strip it down then and hopefully begin.
will look a bit different in the back of there soon.
corsa c with an astra vxr engine in on dta nearly ready to be mapped. johnathan did the conversion etc just a few bits to finish off.
adam the youth bought a new car.
50 quid bmw 318i weapon. was abusing it in the afternoon. then put it on rollers. it made ok power for an old neglected car.
scientifically proved that a cold air feed actually reduced the power aswell. std air box all sealed like normal was much better by about 3-4bhp.
pleasant day out. then kicked the balls off the corsa all the way home seen as its the last time i will drive it probably till march sometime.
thanks.

Theres not a lot of converted Z20LEH engines about is there they all mainly use the LET, isnt it down to wiring being so different in the Astra H..thats why hes using DTA?
Should be fun to drive though!

yeah much easier to use programmable ecu and give it a bit more go at same time. it has an spa clock set in that corsa. johnathan was making fibreglass moulding to house it so it looks standard fitment. nice car really.

Let will look good with the cage fitted. Nice Leh C,its supposed to be quite an expensive conversion but are good cars when done right very sturdy and handle the power well.
