There's a union jack incorporated into it's design, i doubt many Russians would have been hanging about the rangers area wearing that tbh.

I can see the guy getting aggressive after being rubbed up in a doorway by Police for fuck all, Therefor the dog getting involved.
Aye because the police are trained to rub up random old folk smoking in doorways when there's already a shortage of police and riots raging on around about them. I realise you as a group of fans are being victimised to a degree here but lets not live in a fantasy land.

Just because there not trained to do it , Do you honestly beleive that they wont use there 'power' to rub a few up that have done nothing?
Dont you think that there is a small possibility that the guy in the pictures maybe was provoked in a way.
Of course, I could be wrong and probably am, But the thing is because the media have caught part of it on camera , That doesnt mean it started because of the guys actions.

Come on timbaland, I am not the biggest fan of the police and have my fair share of run in's with them where I feel i've been trated unfarily. But lets face it they were under resourced and don't look to have a massive amount of spare time to 'start on' innocent bystanders. Plus they wern't the ones with a days worth of beer inside of them

Fair enough.
Was just making the point that because they arent trained to rub people up for a reaction doesnt mean they wont.

Totally agree, the amount of mayhem that was going on would be enough to keep them occupied.

What a mess It's disgusting behaviour from a bunch of fucking oxygen thieves and I feel extremely sorry for the genuine fans who were caught up in the middle of this. Why they didn't approach Manchester United with a view to putting a screen up in Old Trafford where they have turnstiles and facilities to search people and control the amount of alcohol being brought in I will never know. If they'd done that it would have been far easier to Police and this probably wouldn't have happened.

Look at this picture, the guy has his palms open, not throwing a punch nor fuck all.
Im not defending what happened, TBH it was quite scary being there when all the bottles were flying about. What i'm trying to say is that the Police made matters worse by steaming into anyone & everyone that dared to be standing on the street/outside bars.
Now take of your blue tinted glasses and have a gander at his facial expression, he will have been warned to step back they wouldn't just steam without shouting at him to move back.
I'm tryign to keep an open mind about this incident HOWEVER I dunno about anyone else but the copper is obviously being loud and in the guys face and the dog looks aggressive... coppers and their dogs arent liekly to act this way toward a memebr of the publivc for no reason... the guy MUST have done something... I dont bel;ieve he is totally innocent... our poilice may not be great but they are NOT at the Italian/Spanish police level

Do be quiet.
I've been to hundred's of football matches and over 50 stadiums and I've only ever seen 1 similar incident, and that was on a much smaller scale.

Point made a couple of pages ago Russ, 14th March will be the date those pipe dreams were finally laid to rest.
I'd also suggest the rest of Europe won't be overly keen on rangers being part of any continental set up either and tbh probably us as well due to being guilty purely by association.
