He's no schumacer, he wouldn't try and take people out in order to win etc imo. He's competitive but then I think you'll pretty much find that everyone at the top of there sport is.

Yes we could, we need the winning mentality engraining into our young sports-starts.

Massa to let Kimi past then hold Alonso up?
Massa will want to win his home GP and team orders are banned, so I wouldn't have thought so.
Funniest thing i've read in this thread yet. Ferrari play by different rules!
Team orders are a big part of the sport, Ferrari are always the first to be mentioned but Mclaren have been guilty in the past, Jerez 1997, Australia 98 ring a few bells?. Im not so sure massa did gift it to Raikonnen as he was stuck behind backmarkers and Kimi was right behind him before the 2nd stop, happened in France earlier this year when Raikkonens had a strategy where he runs longer than massa and just overtakes after the final stop.

I've not really read much of this thread.......but:-
LH 'poor' FLOL.....Give over, he's been sponsored by McMerc since he was 8/9 years old FFS.
And todays events had to be scripted IMO...EVERYBODYS reactions and soundbites from McLaren says it all.

IMO its the best result i could have asked for
Hamilton is a great driver but vastly overated and his lack of experienced showed todat theer was no need to challenge and go off at that corner
Secondly both drivers should have not been in the champsionship due to the team being found guilty. Whether that was a justified result in terms of the trail i cannot comment but for me if the team is found guilty then why should the drivers continue - although that was for the TV ratings
I like ferrari and always have but I also liked alonso. Hamilton was not as clean as everyone makes out but I am sure this season will make him a better driver
Roll on next season

vastly over rated
I was waiting to see how long the media were going to hold him up for before knocking back down off the perch, seems some folk don't even need them to do that though.
How you can say a guy that finished 1 point from the championship on the last race with the world champion in his team is beyond me.

Similar to those offs that Alonso had earlier in the season, and he is/was the two time reigning champion!
The gearbox issue spoiled his chances

Brundle said it at the time, it's easy to be critical after the event with the benefit of hindsight and 5 different camera angles. It's the last race and the title is in your sights your going to be absolutely buzzing going into the first corner.

Especially the Interlagos first corner. Not as if he was the only one who spanked.

never said once he was shit I just said his has been amde out to be a driver as good as some with vastly greater experience
Alanso has been average all season but did not make a mistake like he did today
Granted the gearbox issue played its part but I relaly do not think he would have come in the top 5 anyway
His team did not really help him but the greatest drivers make their own chnaces. look at schumcaher for all those years sometimes the under dog sometimes not, but his driving ability and sometimes arogance won him races and the championship
Again I never once said hamilton was shit but he is overated. In one of the best cars i would expect him to finich in the top 4 of the championship The other cars are nowhere near on pace
Its like button - made out to be a wonderful driver and nows he average in an average car
Now adays its the car more than the driver that win races

Putting a bad driver in a good car does not make a good driver. He's a good driver. If he was overrated, Ron Dennis wouldn't have scouted him.
