Not really pointless, steve is whinging about people smoking, risking his health and other peoples when car's do exactly the same?
But cars are necessary in todays society and smoking isn't
you would have to stand in rush hour traffic for 24 hours a day for your life to have the same health impact
Yes i keep forgetting that the gases cant travel into your house 24/7 365 days a year.

How is a car neccesary, its not at all i know people who dont drive and get on fine without a car?
So if you were to ban all modes of transport that weren't public it wouldn't cause havoc?
Imagine how quickly Britains and even the worlds economy would go tits up if there weren't any lorries to transport stuff, or cars so that people could commute.
Industry would just grind to a halt and we'd start going backwards to the times of the horse and cart.

Drinking is also a rubbish argument.
Drinking doesn't directly kill you, although to excess can same as everything else.
Smoking actively gives you cancer and makes you smell like a dirty tramp, brilliant.

its so diluted it makes little impact. the body can process and remove it from the body.
so exhaust fumes kills how many a year? compared to smoking?
your argument is a joke. people who smoke are weak.

live in the centre of london and say it dilutes?
i live just off a main road and i can smell car exhaust most off the time if i have windows open?
i think i posted above how many die from car gases and passive smoking so i have no need to prove my point?

That statement isn't true in any shape or form.
Have you ever smoked.
I've been on both sides of the fence.
It is really fucking hard to quit smoking. It's not weakness. Receptors in your brain get used to nicotene.
It's really hard just to stop doing something that you have been doing for 7 years of your life.

you have selective hearing, if your going to post how many people die of passive smoking alone then you need to post how many people die of car fumes that dont drive, alot less than passive smoking i bet

Apart from social benefits why did you even bother to start in the first place?

I don't mean to sound harsh but in my opinion that makes you weak.
You had no real reason to start a habit which in no way has really benefitted you.
If you have managed to quit then well done

I don't smoke now except for when I'm out.
Which I won't even be doing now.
My breath smells fine thanks.
There are such things as a toothbrush and toothpaste if you have ever heard of it? And chewing gum.

No I brush my teeth 3 times a day and have chewing gum or a mint after I've smoked.
I smoke menthols. I actually hate the taste of normal fags.
Menthols are alot less minging that normal ones.

Yeah I drink, but not very often and not to excess.
It benefits me to the same social benefits people say they get from smoking as I only ever drink if I'm out at the pub with mates.
Drinking small amounts doesn't harm you so no I don't think it makes me weak at all. I haven't started a habit which costs me money and damages my health everyday like smoking does.
