Cars got it MOT tomorrow, I know its going to fail. It hasn't been running right today, got to 100c and I parked up and the coolant all leaked out! it wasn't coming from the hoses or the lid so im confused as to what it can be now as it has had a new head gasket, new water pump, new cambelt, new radiator. It has no thermostat in at the moment either so don't get why the temperature gauge is still flying up!

Could possibly be a failed head gasket, one failed on us before within 10 mins of being fitted (shit quality). That or, worst case scenario, the head could be gone?

Gone where?

How do you know it was coming from no hoses? Do you get underneath whilst running, and look at the back of engine

You're*

Same here as I am everywhere. Including at how's when people meet me for first time too.. They usually go quiet face to face, have no problem then act as a best friend. Funny that.

Couldn't get underneath it, but it wasn't leaking from the hoses at the top.

But on the other hand it passed its MOT!

There's more than one hose, that has water passing though it. That was my point.
Jumping to headgasket conclusions already is mental

Don't know if this has anything o do with the car over heating but the middle vents aren't blowing any air out? could be an airflow restriction? hmm

I actually 100% agree here.
I've seen some people put projects up, they know what they are doing and there is a lot of promise for a very nice car and they have never had 10 pages of replies in just over a month...
Just because shes a girl everyones on here, sad really

Not my fault though is it? Its a project thread, and my car has had a lot of time and money spent on it, okay it may not be huge changes but it will be getting there slowly because of funds. Think I should know what I am doing considering my family has been in the trade for a long time might not know a lot but I know a fair bit. Don't take this as an argument or anything just stating a fact.
