Don't fanny around, format it, then take a ghost of the harddisk when it is set up how you want it. Then, save all you personal files to another hard drive and when windows goes all tits up, restore it all back using the ghost

sometimes i use the floppy disks for ghosting, just so i can feel alittle geekier
