In 2046 Nic Barnes of Corsasport will be saying how he owned the 7R back in the day and would love one again.
Its weird as i can't see these electronic computer cars of today being 30yrs old and people wanting them again (will you also need a 30yr old computer to work on them at home), but i spose people must of thought that in the 80s

Not really, I will have a car 30 years newer and 30 years better. Probably a 16r paid in cash.

That's what i mean, the modern hot hatches just get updated every year with 10% more power, a better 0-60mph time and the latest windows updates. So your car will be superceeded in about 6months time. I just wonder what will happen to them all in the future.
Why get the 30yr old 7R, when you get can a 29yr old 8R.
This is a no offence and each to their own type of post, i'm not slagging off your car

I think i'm no.1 car owner & enthusiast on the site.
21yr old car with a 0-60mph of 6.4secs. Owned car 10yrs, driven over 100k in it, rebuilt & upgraded by myself, and my helmet goes really shiny if i squeeze the shaft.

How many miles did it last before it exploded after you rebuilt it though? Was about 50 wasn't it?

Bought it on 130,000miles.
Headgasket went at 194,000miles so fitted a replacement engine i bought off the corrado forum as it had some tuning bits on it.
Started to build another engine from all new parts, block/head, pistons etc,
Fitted that at 223553miles,
Did 3000miles with it and something went wrong so taking that engine back out, think its just the bearing shells/crank that have been affected by oil starvation, possibly something has blocked an oil injector.
Rest of the car is all new parts though, so no point giving up now, just suck it up and carry on, once engine is back it should do another 200k imo
