Did anyone tune in to Radio X this morning? It's the new name for XFM with the main headline of the relaunch being Chris Moyles on the Breakfast Show.
It started off with the orchestral music that started his BBCR1 show and I thought great, but also hoped they'd think up something new after 3 years. That did stop and change to a new jingle.
Dominic Byrne is supporting, and Pippa from Greg James' show is producing.
It was quite a good listen if you like rock, indie style stuff.
Vernon Kay is doing the 10am-1pm show, and Johnny Vaughan the drive time 4pm-7pm.
Only available on FM in Manchester & London, the DAB nationally and obviously online/app.
Does have adverts. I'd rather that than Grimmy though

BTW it might have been Noel.. Not sure.. I find both offensive obviously which ever one of the pair is the swaying-small-penised-front-man offends me more..

DAB is fantastic.....when it works!
Constantly cuts in and out on the Fiesta when listening to KISS in my area, even though i'm close to the city. It did work perfectly elsewhere though, so i'm guessing more needs to be done to the system somewhere

Sometimes the Radio 1 crew can be a bit like giggly school girls, one of them (cant remember who) has an annoying snigger when something mildly funny is said, apart from that I like it.

Only thing I hated about radio one was that game where they have loads of water, and have to fill up mouths as funny clips are played.

Hated grimmy at first think he's cool now really quite like him didn't like fearne cotton everyone and everything was "gorgeous" every new song she likes was described as "gorgeous" fucking bint. Hate Scott mills too. Greg James isn't bad.

Can't stand grimmy. I tried but just didn't like him. I usually listen to Chris Evans at the mo then switch to Greg James on the way home.
I bet Moyles gets a decent following.
