So Yeah been on here a little while now and thought id better start a thread more pictures to follow after Ive finished at work
plus im not really too sure how to upload pictures so this may/not work but will try again if it failss ....

Put [img ] and [/img] (without the spaces) either side of the link that should get it to show up

Yeah loads mate just gotta get my finances sorted out

but i have a c20xe sat in my garage waiting to go in all i need for it go in is mounts and probably some bigger brakes
as its only a 1.6 at the mo...

so i have done a bit to this car before i ever thought about starting a thread til i went to pvs 2012 and got some inspiration to start one so yeah..


pictures as followed


Had a go at dewipering thought it was a good idea until i realised the amount of rust so in need of a new bootlid at some point as its all been filled with fibre glass




I then resprayed the mud flaps jet black




I then tidied up the engine bay abit but not too bothered about this if im honest as i have the c20xe to go in soon




I then managed to source a set of black leather calibra interior for a bargain of £46





I then took the front bumper off with a mate to cut off the old rusty tow bar and replace with a LUKE strap




which yes i sprayed it black as well just to refresh it abit




The end product....




And this is how the car looks at the moment









And this is what is killing me just seeing it in my garage wont be too long now thoughh once thats all in im going to be focusing on the body work as its bad in places!!

Right so I have a few bits to update on ...

The XE is in took us two days to get it in to be exact about 12 hours
Started up first time done an oil change on it to remove the old
Grubby black oil that was in it.

Few cheeky shots of the engine in whilst its dead at work






Also came with a freidrich power cap which as it was going in I didn't realise that we'd have to cut
Into the bulkhead :/ but anyway came out quite a tidy jog regardless



Also could me after a slimline fan soon as my manifold decided to melt it ..



Future plans are cambelt change to be done next month small bit of welding to be done under car
Then some blue roose Motorsport hoses and try to tidy up more of the bay

Then once all that was been done will be moving onto body work
New bumpers, bonnet, tailgate etc
