 | You can have a drink problem at any age, although drinking in a public environment is a lot safer psychologically than drinking alone.

What kind of state are you in when the pubs close?

 | A drug is a drug - some can be more harmful and more addictive, but if you become dependant on one then it's not good really is it.

How many hours a week do you spend in the pub?

 | You can't face the washing up when sober? That's a bit pathetic mate. Just stick on pair of marigolds and act like Vibrio for 20 mins whilst doing the dishes - you'll feel a lot better for it.

CS probably isn't the best place to air your problems - sit down with the missus and have a chat - sober.

 | For a Doctor/GP to ask a patient to quit is a bit careless - it's never going to happen.

All he needs to do is cut down - go on a bender Friday and Saturday if you must drink to excess.

Otherwise a pint at lunchtimes and a couple of hours in the evening.

What's the fun in staying in the pub when you've got a woman waiting at home??

Oh, the dishes need doing too!

 | Hmmmm what is a "drink problem". I go out once a week. Typical nite out usually consists of about 6 drinks (pints/bottles) plus 3-4 shots (sourz etc)

What exactly is a drink problem? Couple of my mates my be guilty of havin one!

And i never get in a real state I ain't some little kid in the park with cider

 | Well overcoming the phobia would be a start. You're probably on prescribed medication for a reason, so you should try and get back onto them. Yes it might mess up your drinking routine, but just cut down rather than go cold turkey.
