 | Right not sure what to do, I Want to go back to a RWD "fun" car!

Currently pinned it down to 2 options. (Max budget 10-11K)

 S2000
Spend about 6K, respray, sus, wheels, hardtop, few engine mods.

 VX220T
Towards the higher end of my budget, Probably just stick a hardtop on it for now.

Need to save about 4K if i look at the VX, where as the S2 i can pretty much do as and when I sell the BMW.

Both cars have there pro's and cons, The S2 has more comforts but the VX has a blower, so more potential but then more money

Oh and i want both in White, I know the VX's dont come in white but id probably have it wrpped.

 | why plan a respray

Why not just buy one in a colour you want.

 | Cus as far as im aware you cant get a white VX, and a white S2 would be an import or not enough for a UK spec white one. Plus on the S2 id be buying an older one to allow for mods, the body would likely need a tidy up.

 | just wrap it and then you dont have to try and reason that it wasnt in a big crash resulting in a complete respray.

 | s2000 all day long, much more solid and better built car

vx220 is more bodged version of the elise

seen 05 plate vx's flaking paint, rarely make the claimed power
 probably abit more fun though

I had my S2 for 5 years and tbh they were 5 years hassle free motoring, the only thing that used to piss me off was the hassle of a vert, the odd water, ice on the windscreen etc... but i think it would be alot worse in a vx

Personally though id go for the vx220, will be a hoot to drive and way more attention grabbing

 Corsa 1.6 sport - 1
 1.7 puma engined fiesta - 0

Keeping corsa's on the redline since 2008

(light engine mods, suspension, final drive ratio)

 or

 Boost the s2000:

 | Although I would usually go for the one you see on the road less, I prefer the Honda tbh.
Never been keen on the looks of the VX.
