Quite like them. I was on a stag day yesterday and one of the lads turned up in one. Numberplate M888 THU. They sit low!

Now it makes sense. I was thrown by the quoting of the track pic and not the second pic which would have been more appropriate.

Quite hard actually.
The Corsa was a sardine can, with rock hard suspension, rattly and noisy as fuck.
But gripped like something rotten, could be turned into a corner/chuck it about and it would stick, cock a wheel and be out of it like a bullet but struggle on atraights and grunt. But I ragged it to fuck to get the most out of it.
The Astra was a completely different drive. To keep it in boost every corner was taken in 4th gear, except the last one(camp?) which I done in 5th gear. The car felt very smooth and flat, neutral and well balanced and the brakes are just ficking awesome. The T1r's grip very well considering.
I only ever really used the revs from 2500 to 5000 in this.
I am very impressed with the whole package of the car.
And my gearbox is still fine.
Its an internet myth.
