£2400 or less
Quick, possibly something turbo?
Did want a soft top but no to bothered.
Insurance isn't a big issue.

Being honest I think the colour is horrible.
It is cheap though.

For reference, if you put a little more to it -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/52-VAUXHALL-ASTRA-COUPE-TURBO-CONVERTIBLE-BLUE-swap-/260757487865?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cb65b80f9
Same colour/seats combo as my old one.
Also this one, looks like a trader who doesn't give away much, looks like he's just buying at auction and selling straight on.
First went for just over 2k
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-VAUXHALL-ASTRA-CONVERTIBLE-TURBO-POWER-ROOF-ETC-/180642801164?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a0f26660c
And is now re-listed currently at 2.4k
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-VAUXHALL-ASTRA-CONVERTIBLE-TURBO-POWER-ROOF-ETC-/180649593351?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a0f8e0a07
Might be a bit more of a gamble and it has cloth seats I would probably be going the extra grand to avoid orange.
Not sure how you feel about orange
Edit - the relist is because it now has MOT.

I quite like the gold colour although it's not my first choice, hardon blue probably would.
I do really want a soft top turb but theyre a bit out of the budget

It's Europa Blue on those.
You may get one for the price.
Depends whether you want a safe coupe or a convert which might need a bit of love.
The latter of course being a bit more of an investment.

Then you're getting bent over! I was 21 and paid <£900 on a GSi turbo.

I think I need to look around if I can get it cheaper. I was actually considering paying £1800 when I get one.
