The Great Pyramids aren't quite aligned properly, so the Aliens weren't very accurate.

Oliver i was watching the program with the desert in it, and i was thinking that there must be some amazing stuff hidden under tons of sand and also preserved.
i thought if we invented a massive xray massive that could xray the desert, we could find crashed planes, spaceships, dinosaurs, lost cities, treasure.
you in?

What about if you make a massive mirror massive instead, hold it above the desert and aim an xray machine at that instead?

I like the idea of a massive X-ray machine, but I like the idea of aliens more so.
The alignment thing, do you not think it could be that the stars have shifted their positions since they were built?

i reckon where ever they built pyramids we would be able to find some sort of pattern or some way of lining them up.
people were bored as hell back then, nothing to do, no xbox etc.
i reckon a pyramid was easier to build then a big square building, the square ones probably fell down tbh.
amazing skills though, being able to fit exterior stones, highly polished and couldn't get a razor blade between..
(of course the guy saying that saw them over 1000yrs ago, and someone had invented razor blades for him to test his statement)
^^how does he know?

to me the pyramids were like their ladder.
all they saw back then was the sun, the moon, rain came etc, all from the sky. They must of thought a magical world was up there.
so they built pyramids to try and reach into the skys. Until they worked out it wasn't going to happen, so buried people in them instead rather then try digging in the sand

am explaining the pyramids to you oliver, how is that off track?
they build them to try and climb into the sky, it was like ye olde space mission.
when it dawned on them how big a foot print the building would require they stopped.
Do you know, out of all the pyramids, which is the newest?

They had a different god back then. I love how gods change through the years.
