Great film even though historical innacuracies are bad in places.

The crew of the Memphis Belle changed so much over the 25 missions yet the film makes out they were together from start to finish.

Also wasn't Sally B originally a B17G with the chin turret and not an F

Yes, so they must have removed the chin turret in the film and the perspex from the port and starboard waist gunners compartments, oh and the radio operators window.

and upper turret design, radio operators window design and smewhere along the lines the tail turret design was amended ;\
