Yours maybe newer, but I bet there is quite a difference in price between a little Mito and an ISF...

No, you wasn't stuck, the Lexus jsut wasn't trying hard.
It gives an M3 a run for its money. And no Punto dervs gonna worry an M3 on track
Good to see our taxpaying money is being put to giving the plod a beast of a car to run around in. Hard life for those guys...

he was a fanny in the bends, Id be all over the back of him in the bends ( Im too sensible to overtake in no overtaking zones ) and then Id pull out to go past on the exit and it would disapear... till the next bend, propper pissing me off, no decency at all

To be fair, the Lexus is nowhere near as polished as the Audi and BMW efforts. Still a quick car though.
And also, if they have just got in on a 58 plate surely Pow the money conscious guy should be made up that the police aren't paying list price for the car and making a saving buying used....

love the phone number on the back bumper. Reminds me of the I.T. Crowd.
Why the fuck would anybody be calling the police if it WASN'T an emergency?
''Oh hi, is that the police? Yeah? good, I thought i'd try this number as it's not an emergency. I'm just bored and fancied a chat with a stranger''

I'd be surprised if they'd bought used. As far as i'm aware they don't Joe.
I'd have though they've just had it a few months. Either that or it was a pre-registered dealer discount thingy. Or, it's been floating around another force for a while or started as a chief's taxi or similar.

I've seen it around here a few times now, it was bought new but went away to have 30k worth of electrical gizmo's fitted apparently. It looks nice but some of the quotes made in our local paper about its performance are hilarious
