Can't wait myself
So now they know where you are every moment of the day, gone are the days you could jump into your car for a few days and disapear.
We all knew this was going to happen, and the cost is just ridiculous.
People that own cars for the enjoyment of owning it and don't just use them to commute will soon be forced off the road and only the super rich will be able to afford to enjoy their cars.
It's time for a nuclear war.

When they say that certain roads will attract higher charges, I presume they mean motorways, etc.? That'll just mean more people using backroads and causing much more traffic than intended to be on those.

We all know it's a load of bollocks that will just impact the usual people.
i.e. people that work for a living, need the car to get to work, now can't afford to get to work, can't work, go on benefits.
FUCKING C*NTS

Some people need to do some research about the way the world is heading.

How the hell is that going to ease congestion....bunch of idiots!!
Just stick road tax onto petrol (wont be much....penny a litre max!) & maybe stick a toll on certain bridges & Mways & do away with road tax all together!!

Pow
Of course it will happen, I expect it will be one of the first things the Tories do and will blame it on Labour for the reason to increase revenue.

Fuck off and die. Make petrol cheaper and let us all run round in cars with minimum engine size of 4.0 V8 driving where we want, when we want. Worry about the environment another day.

In a way it's them being smart.
they clearly have another motive but If they want to bring in new regulations for their own benefit they have to market it to look beneficial to joe public so the majority just roll with it and don't think twice.

tbh if they bring this in I bet their will be massive protests over the petrol prices, as our Govt takes more than nearly all others out there in tax on it.

Exactly what they want, everyone locked up in their houses never leaving. Curfews will be installed, first of all to prevent "hoodies" but mixed into that will be hidden agendas, same as the anti terrorism laws that can be used for just about anything to have people arrested who "might" be up to something but they have no proof.
World is going down the pan, fast. Blame Zionism.

Can I be the 1st to say I'm leaving this country if this happens?
I'm not going to, I just wanted to say it before someone else did

I hope you are being sarcastic.
The impact that cars make on the enviroment are negligble, it's only recently that the Governments of the world have seen an opportunity to swindle us all out of more cash that they are pushing this "Act on Co2" bullshit, the adverts on TV on prime time television is just the start, push and push and push it until people are so deluded by what they are seeing they will sign their own death warrants in order to save their kids.
It's fucking bullshit and it's starting to fuck me off, put me on the first space flight to mars.

Sort of, sort of not.
I think they should drop the whole environmental crap when it comes to cars.
The sarcastic bit was the dream of us all running round in V8 engine cars with cheap petrol
