didnt take long, 12 hours on pistonheads, guys sent me a deposit and made me an offer, coming to collect either friday/saturday..

shame as ideally i wanted to keep it, do a few things and do a few shows at the start of the year, never mind sounds like its going to a good home anyway..

just advertising it right, plus its very hard to find one in the conditon mine is in, my mk1 is stupidly solid underneath for its age..

just looked how far that glanza is and tis 550miles (6hours) even though there willing to drop a fair bit on the price etc..

i do agree i would travel if i was buying a car, but as its a part ex sort of thing, what if i get there and its rough and no good, i mean what if they expect my mk1 to be more, even though its bloody solid in general, never mind being a mk1 tbh (as some/most do suffer from rust)
