nicked off the PNG

[QUOTE=dhdev (Oli)]Found this over on a BMW forum. It was on a closed-track trackday instead of the usual touristenfahrten. The impact happened at the fastest part of the circuit at the end of the longest straight between antoniusbuche and tiergarten. I'm guessing the M3 was doing in the region of 160mph. From what I've read he was an experienced ringer and unfortunately hit the back of the slower moving mini (that can be seen in the background of the pics) after coming over the blind crest. The driver of the M3 got away with only a broken arm!

Let this be a warning to anyone venturing there!

I take it the Mini driver got hurt aswell.

I would not want to be trying to brake that hard, looks scary as shit!

I can only speculate ...

but i reckon the bmw was going full chat, and the mini probably moved across onto the line of the faster bmw ... this is quite common at the ring, but obv at 160 mph if the mini is only doing 80-90 ish, the bmw will not be able to avoid it and cause the impact.
