What will they be used for?
Read very good things about the X-Trail.

You don't need a big 4x4 for taking the kids to school and driving on the Yorkshire streets I'm betting it will never see offroad, services and parts will be nice prices aswell, as will tyres.

The x-trail was nowhere near as big as I expected inside and also pig ugly (although it doesn't look too bad there in black)

Get an estate tbh.
I can't think of a single 4x4 that I would own.

well the y plate ones are a different shape/style to the one that you posted arnt they... as that one you posted is a 54 plate so will look different to what you actually intend to buy....?
ive never driven any but as said surly an estate will be more practible? decent size to fit dog and kids, cheaper running costs inc tax, fuel, insurance....
and estates look better i think

Think id rather get a Disco than either of those!!
Not that i'd buy a 8-9yr old 4x4, the running costs would be huge I would imagine!!
