I'm always a bit dubious about importing JDM stuff.. You never 100% know the history of what you are getting, I know you cant be 100% sure with UK cars but atleast you have some history to back things up, with a japanese car any history will be in japanese it could say anything! It might be the service history for a dishwasher for all you know

I've had four Impreza's now and when searching the market most JDM's have been clocked and its so obvious its a piss take! Just about every Impreza you see as done 40k miles but when you look at it the interior is worn to the point its bloody obvious its done atleast twice that.

My UK Bugeye has done 80k genuine miles and its been maintained to a very high standard, the interior looks like its just rolled out of the factory, the underside is spotless and it runs quiet as a mouse.

Ive no choice but to import, the car was never available in the UK, and those that are for sale second hand already imported over here arent what Im after.
