do you lose all inability to drive??
seems most people do
drove down to bath a month and had 3 identical accidents where 3 people had gone into the back of each other in the outside lane.
drove up to manchester yesterday and again 2 identical accidents where 2 cars had gone into the back of each other in the outside lane.
seriously what is it with people on the motorway do they just forget how to drive?

Or a prius thinking they are doing the world right by sitting at 60 whilst overtaking a lorry even though there is a line of cars as far as the eye can see behind them.
Motorways annoy me tbh

Because people drive to close together, it's like a competition. Like the cunt in the Merc last night that recieved the 4th gear treatment and was never to be seen again.

People following too closely in an effort to bully the person in front out of the way.
Remove speed limits and you remove the "I'm entitled to do 70mph in the outside lane if I please" drivers that sit at the head of all the congestion.

think you will find people come into the outside lane and over take someone at 1 mile an hour faster - takes them ages the fucking idiots - like lorry drivers
The amount of cars that pussy along at 80 mph in the outside lane is stupid when the middle lane is free is frightening

I dont think removing the speed limit would work but should deff be upped to around 80-85 otherwise you will have these so called badgers pulling into it for an overtake not seeing someone coming along at 120

I don't think we should remove the limit at all, but I certainly think variable limits are the way forward depending on the amount of traffic

Motorway driving should be included in the test.

A sound idea, but imagine you gave the general public the power to go at any speed they wanted. Mayhem would soon ensue.

Don't get me started on middle lane drivers. THE LEFT MOST LANE IS EMPTY, USE IT.

I dont like to do that in case there is an under cover traffic car somewhere or they decide to pull in to the side of you as you go past

oooo dont get me started on middle lane drivers that is my biggest biggest hate on the road proper boils my piss.
Used to drive back from liverpool at like midnight and nobody would be in the inside lane for miles and miles yet about 8 cars sat in the middle lane, sat behind them flashing them one by one till the moved over, got past them and i think about half pulled back out again
usually do just thundertake them though proper pisses me off especially when they dont pull in after that

It works in Germany, with only 2 lanes, and people approaching at 140-150mph
UK people are idiots, it wouldn't work.
They would have the "its my lane, i'll do what I want" attitude (said in Cartman voice).

Argue the road law that they were not following the rules either.
They were driving without due care and attention.
They failed to be bothered about that person though...
And that they are failing to realise that people sitting in the middle/outside lane is the cause of most of the traffic, as its either being squeezed into 1 lane, or can't get passed at all, hence need further education on driving, and it would save the government millions of pounds of my tax paying money expanding motorway lanes when education saying "KEEP LEFT" would free up a whole lane of motorway. If other countries can do it, why can't our so called "developed country" do it.....
PS, im inside outside after flashing them and no movement. Followed by international sign of "your a tanker"

There needs to be a keep left unless overtaking rule in the UK, just like there is in pretty much every other country in Europe.

I was doing a speed I shouldn't have been doing, around 120 leptons, (my risk so no one dig at me please) and a van driver was indicating then obviously without looking pulled out at about 60mph, I have never braked so hard in my life, by the time I had got to his speed I was about a foot off his back bumper.

I had this also...
Just so happens an undercover car was clocking me, so in a way it done me a favour as it lowered my ave speed to 114mph.....
It would have had at least another 15mph on top of that otherwise
More suprised they didn't ask why a 1.4 was so quick
I had another similar when i was doing a "possible" 150 leptons on the bike the other week.... When he did notice, i've never seen a car serve into the middle lane so fast and so out of control... did make me chuckle....
