They're hand welded, but they look like that've been CNC'd don't they!

Herringbonetastic!

Wish I could weld like that.

I think it's safe to say i'd like one of those for my ZT. Power gains are probably fairly interesting.

That LS7 manifold is a true work of art. Would almost be a shame to fit it to a car.

That is TIG welding. The quality comes from the prep work and the decent tools. All you need then is hands like a robot and you're away.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

You say that as if it's easy which it certainly is not.

It's not the hardest thing in the world. People are miffed by welding ally but like anything, once you know how to do it it's not hard at all. It is when people MIG it that it looks shit, TIG gives so much more control and ends up looking loads better due to how the molted filler flows.

Welding ally is an arse though. I can do it but sometimes its good sometimes its a ball ache. Not a patch on that although it will of been cleaned up and polised

TIG welding is a joy if you've got the joints all sorted and nice and tidy. Can get away without filler rod for a lot of things Ally is just tricky to do, especially to get it to look like it's been done by a frickin FANUC controlled welder
