Since i have been away working for a month, and was out for a run on sunday on the bike,i decided to give it a good clean yesterday.

If you are expecting some detailing thread, where i get my toothpick out to clean the threads on my valve caps-you ve came to the wrong thread

it just got a good wash, polish, and plastics cleaned. mostly Meguiars/Autoglym stuff.

By the end of this month it will be getting tucked up in the workshop on its stands and its cosy blanket wrapped round it, but it will be getting a serious clean then wheels, fairings off etc)

hope you like

BEFORE

AFTER

I think its more the size of the lettering thats the problem Graham

Gorgeous bike though, I will be stepping up to a 600 (possibly a 650) when the man from the pru stops raping me

my other mate has " Chief (as in Chief constable) i jist hid to"

My qoute is from the LEG-END that was/is Colin Mcrae, he said "If in doubt, flat out" but i had to give it a more scottish feel

Heres todays cleaning:

of course before i cleaned it i had to take it out and get it totally dirty, so it went clean-dirty-clean

my next outing at the track is next weekend, cant wait, its been over a month!!!

i gave it a steam clean at the workshop then took it down to my parents house to give it a proper clean, then i started it up and took it up their street then back down, quite a lot of it on the back wheels, making a silly amount of noise ( the akrapovic full race system is REALLY loud, and when its on over run it pops, bangs, and splits flames when its hot and been getting thrashed)

ENJOY!!

Unfortunatly i forgot to get before shots

Nice bike

Maybe some stompgrips for the tank. Stop the leather marking it and they actually do work.

the ducati is the only nice looking bike there. and its from around 2000.

that `blade is just ugly!!!!

i dont like bikes with the exhaust up the side, it looks out of place, alot neater under the seat
