Correct, unless you take a scouring pad to the paintwork afterwards.
I find snow foam then a jet down, Hand wash with Microfibre Cloths and then dry with a Microfibre Towel a good start. If i have cleaned the car recently prior i'd stop there. Sometimes if i cleaned it a day or 2 before a good detailing spray works wonders and is quick.
Every 3 - 6 months it gets special treatment, Clay Bar'd. Dodo Juice Lime Prime. If the car is looking a bit scratched or Bird shit has etched the paint etc it'll get a polish. Megs G220 comes out and depending on how bad it is then choose product accordingly (I.E whether your trying a restore, just trying to enhance or want a final finish, and obviously pads to suit).
Depending on when i last sealed it and time of year, i decide whether thats what i'm gonna do next, i use either Acrylic Glanz or Carlack.
Been trying a lot of different Wax's lately to, I like Purple Haze Dodo Juice, But R222 100% is bloody good too. A couple of layers of that and its looking pukka. Sometimes I use EGP on top but isnt really necessary
For Wheels Sonus Rim Bright And Poorboys Wheel Sealant Twice a year to try and discourage Tar marks.
Stays looking pretty mint for a god few months with nothing more than a nose down needed.

x2, why do you need to know the products being used if it's someone else doing it?
