thats kind of the idea of a sleeper - a car that looks boggo or shit that has enough power to rip your face off. If you have a smart looking car, people expect it to have the grunt to back up the looks...

Exactly. If that came up behind me in my corsa I'd probably laugh, think 1.2 8v and go for it only to be smashed to bits at which point i would laugh at myself and give the driver a thumbs up, if i ever caught him up and drive away very sheepishly

I get the idea that sleepers have to look standard, its just people say it >"LOOKS"< good, which it doesn't, you can get better looking sleepers...eg better colour, less doors.
