 as a track car I think the porsche looks fantastic! OTT for a banker in the city maybe.
Roll cage, cooling, downforce 
Its a 996 TwinTurbo, running about 530bhp. Fast, aye.

Des popped his track cherry last night in his corsa too. Broke it as well, but hey ho its a only a wee PS pipe issue.
Des - how'd you find the 048R's? What made you go for them over R888's?

yup - late 2006.
Scotland didnt seem to have any sites dedicated to trackday/trackcars. Lots of sites with an interest, but nothing focussed.
Did about 3 crail and 1 KH trackdays in the first year.
About 6 KH trackdays and some co-work with MSV for an Oulton day in 2008
6 KH events this year (two saturday sessions), and a crail one coming up.

Good stuff, looks like its doing well, good numbers and some high quality cars.
Would love to do crail, but its a long assed journey down there, and if the 106 breaks, or I break it, then im fucked

I'm not sure if I'll be taking my car on track on the 17th now as it might be the weekend of the conversion  But I'll still be there! Might persuade the mrs to track her Yaris But if it's running ok, the 14th sounds very tempting!

Got a good deal on the 048R's at the time but i will be getting R888's as i was offered a good price while i was at the tyre guy  . Had a great time, following closely to an Evo 4 for 5 laps
