Nothing too exciting just another clean your car thread

Got these through the post during the week so I thought I would give them a try

Also t-cutted my badges for the stealth look

Before

During

After

Then washed the car and I must say ive only ever used a sponge and chamios before but a lambs wool mitt and drying towl made it so much easier and better

Then I clayed the car and gave it a going over with the glaze. then put on the final layer on collonite wax. Easy to put on but not so easy to buff back off Although if its as long lasting as it says it is I can deal with it.

Bit upset with the pics as they dont show the shine that it has. Looks alot better in real life

anyway

With me dicking around in the background

Poor attempt at moving shots

people just dont realise how bad sponges and chamois really are..

as you have used wool mitt and drying towels are so much better for the paint..

These are the sorts of posts that ruin these threads, why can't you leave the people that like this stuff alone and keep your opinions and sarcasm to yourselves?

Think it's a light hearted thread Dave. Re-read Gavin's first line in the OP.

Its some pictures of a clean saxo? I'm sure Gavin isn't bothered. If he is then I sincerely apologise. Its called sarcasm, banter, a joke, a laugh. You should give it a whirl sometime.

Its worrying but I really like it

Current trend of thinking is keeping it until I have sold off all the civic and then by something an s2000 or something and then strip, cage and throttle body the saxo

Quick tip with the Colli - apply to a panel at a time and buff straight off. A hell of a lot easier to work with then and doesn't seem to affect durability. It still struggling, spritz the panel with QD first.

Oh and I'm just about to become a Collinite reseller this week for future reference!
