Mini has given its Cooper S the BMW X6 treatment and created its most bonkers car ever.
The two-seat, low roofline concept moves Mini’s unique approach to developing the brand to new heights – its one car that certainly stands out from the crowd.
But under the new low roofline, it’s altogether more conventional with the turbo’d 211bhp rorty motor from the Cooper S. Although no performance figures have been announced for the Coupe Concept, we’d expect a seven second 0-62mph time with a V-max of around 140bhp.
Mini boasts the Coupe has “perfect axle distribution and lightweight construction” and with an aluminium roof – the first for a Mini – it should have a low centre of gravity, all helping to continue the handling prowess Minis are known for.
